ABOUT
Katherine (Kate) Lambos Wilsey, Psy.D.
Dr. Kate L. Wilsey (she/they) is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 11 years of clinical practice and 9 years of education in psychology and clinical psychology. She prioritizes creating a therapeutic space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and validating.
Dr. Kate is committed to supporting adults as they tackle life’s challenges, with a focus on fostering growth, resilience, and connection. Dr. Kate is proud of her clients' positive outcomes and the relationships they have built. Many clients have told Dr. Kate that she feels like a close friend, albeit one who helps them do difficult things and is pretty funny (okay, okay, maybe some leave out that last part about her being funny).
Jokes aside, Dr. Kate considers this career to be her calling, and she is honored to be a clinical psychologist. She looks forward to each day, whether it is a trauma session, addressing depression and anxiety, problem-solving a social situation, strategizing an outing, or simply rating cats. Fun fact: While at Skidmore College for undergrad, Dr. Kate swam all four years, won the Coaches Award, and was co-captain for two years.
